三条町の家
構造設計
三条町の家は、道路と敷地の間に存在する高低差や法面を、単なる境界ではなく、まちと住まいをつなぐ空間として読み替えた住宅です。道路レベルから2階玄関へと続く桟橋状のアプローチは、まちとの関係を緩やかに調整しながら、建築へと導くもうひとつの地面として計画されています。構造計画では、アプローチ側に配置した準耐力壁を用いて壁量を確保しながら、視線の抜けや透明性を併せ持つ構成としました。ここに生じる水平力は床剛面を介して耐力壁へ伝達することで、側面に壁を設けない開放的な平面計画を実現しています。また、1階には外部と連続する土間空間を設け、2階リビングには屋根形状を活かしたトラス架構を採用することで、無柱空間と高さの変化を両立しました。境界を明確に分けるのではなく、その間に生まれる関係性を受け止める骨格として構造を計画することで、まちと住まいが緩やかにつながる空間を支えています。
House in Sanjomachi is a wooden residence built on a sloping site where a roadside embankment creates an ambiguous boundary between the public realm and private living space.The project reinterprets this in-between condition as a place that connects the city and the home.
A bridge-like approach leads directly to the second-floor entrance, while semi-structural walls provide lateral resistance without sacrificing openness and transparency.Lateral forces are transferred through the floor diaphragm, allowing the side elevations to remain largely open.The ground floor functions as an earthen-floor space connected to the exterior, while a trussed roof structure creates a column-free living area on the second floor.
The result is a residence that gently mediates between the urban landscape and everyday life.
